Scavenger Hunt Saturday

#68 Something Rusty

I honestly don't know if there is a group called Scavenger Hunt Saturday on flickr or other sites, but I'm declaring it so - at least for today.   Today's featured image is #68 on the list: Something Rusty. I found these bed springs near that old abandoned house I've been picking over the past few weeks.

There are lots of rusty things around this house, but this was the most unique and interesting. I think I may go back and take some more close up detailed shots of the springs.

While surfing photo blogs this week, I found another brand new texture site named "I Heart Textures" that is just getting started. I applied the "Razzled Rust" texture I found there and loved it so much, I can't wait to see what else is in store for the future.

We have a twofer this morning, as I also captured #9 on the list:  A Junk Car on my morning walk yesterday.  I have a feeling that I may not have to go far from my home to find many of the items on the list.  But, I have some ideas that may take me a bit further out.

#9 A Junk Car

This will be a brief entry today as my day is going to be jam packed with activity and I need to get going. Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys some of this beautiful Autumn weather.  That is, if you are in a place where you are blessed to be having some.

  1. Beautiful! If there isn't a scavenger hunt group you should start one, these pics are wonderful. I'll be the first to participate in your group as it sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for linking up!

  3. Don't think it will take you a year to get all 101 items on the list.Looks like you have a treasure trove of things right in your area.
