Make a List

Picture the Holidays Day 19 - Make a List

Thiry Days Of Thanks Picture The Holidays - Day 19

I don't know about you but I'm big on lists. If I don't write it down, chances are I won't remember it! Lists are for to-dos and don't forgets but they can also be for hopes and wishes (especially in the season of giving and receiving).

Today, share your list in one way or another. Focus on the whole or on a tiny yet significant part. Give us a glimpse into what you jot down to help you remember.

This will be the third year that I've chosen a word to define the year, rather than making a list of resolutions. As the year winds down, I've been considering possible candidates for 2012. For this prompt, I went ahead and brainstormed a little in my morning pages journal and started a list.

Truth be told, I've already pretty much chosen the word. Can you guess which one?

I'm taking a little time off from my day job after Christmas and I'll have more time to elaborate further on words past, present and future. For now I will say that I'm taking my word very seriously this year and to support this intention, I've signed up to participate in "One Little Word" with Ali Edwards of Big Picture classes.

Click on the button below to create your free account. They offer free classes as well, but the price for the fee based classes is really reasonable (just $36). If you use this "refer a friend" code (26F1B4D4) when you register for your first class, we'll both get a discount on our second class.

That is all I have time for today. Have a great day!

  2. You are the second person I know through blogging that chooses a word for the year - what a great idea...I may just join in.
