A Whole Lot of Happy

Thiry Days Of Thanks Picture The Holidays - Day 12

t's been said that smiling is contagious. I think it's true. Smile and the whole world smiles back at you. Well, maybe not always. As much as I hate to admit it. this time of year can bring out the crabby in people. But, let's not focus on that! Let's let a big ol' grin work it's wonders on us so that in turn we can smile, smile, smile!

Today, wear a smile and search for the people or things that smile back and capture a happy face!

I'm out of order today as I am a little stumped on how I want to interpret day 11, so I'll plug it in somewhere else along the way. There was no such problem with Day 12's theme. This one was a no-brainer. Today's image is a cropped version of one I shared yesterday, so my apologizes for repeating. But seriously, who could tire of that face?

When I think of happy, I think of grand-dog Crockett. Born on the fourth of July, 2010 he still has quite a bit of puppyish exuberance and energy. He's never happier than when he's prancing around like a pony in a ring with a stick in his mouth.

He's brought a lot of joy to all of us since he came around and especially to his daddy. I enjoyed my weekend babysitting and had to smile at the text messages from my son asking how his boy was doing.

There was one shot I took of Crockett this weekend that seemed destined for the recycle bin because it was just too blurry. It was clear enough though to see the adorable, happy expression on his face. A little work in Topaz Labs gave the image a new lease on life...

Now THAT'S a whole lot of happy! Here's wishing you lots to smile about today.

Today's Linkups

  1. So incredibly lovely dog. Very beautiful.

  2. He's so sweet, LeAnne. And our four-leggeds definitely have a lot to teach us humans about happiness, don't they. Hope you're feeling better as you head into another week.

  3. A granddog, that is hilarious. I love the shot. Once again, you did very well.
