I'm still processing photos from the thicket of birds I came across a few weeks back and I still have a couple more week's worth to go. So far we've had downy woodpeckers, a cardinal and bluejay (more to come on the cardinals), and some titmouses (or is it titmeese, titmice? I googled it and still don't know).
Today, we have a Carolina Chickadee. It is hard to describe just how many birds were in that small space. It was a virtual bird rave. The blue jay was the only solo bird of a feather that day, there were rather large numbers of all the other kinds. It was something to see.
Unfortunately, my back is worse today and I've taken the day off work to rest it. It is painful to sit at the computer so this will be short. What a cramp (literally) this little issue has put in my enjoyment of this beautiful spring weather we are having.
Speaking of birds, I went home early yesterday because of the pain and there were masses of birds "dating" in my back yard. It was quite the party. I'm not sure what type of birds they were, but they were so frenzied I was dive bombed by a few of them. Ordinarily, I would have grabbed my camera and had a field day. But, not this time.
Feel sorry for me yet? :) I'm sure a day of rest will help, so I'm going to step away from the computer and commence to resting.
