I'm unbelievably behind on all my little projects and memes. Here we are in April and I totally missed posting about my One Little Word Project. Let's not even talk about Two Takes, which will probably be over by the time I get caught up.
Since this is somewhat of a mosaic, I thought I'd go ahead and post my February One Little Word project prompt for Mosaic Monday. This month we were to primarily use photographs. My word is "Calling" and these photos represent many of the elements I believe come into play somehow.
We were also encouraged to include a full size picture as well, and I chose the hour glass shot with the words to the poem that seems to encapsulate my intentions with my word.
As you can see I added just a little bling to the photos.
For March, we were encouraged to take action and come up with one small action we could do to further our journey into our word. My action was small and big at the same time. With just a few clicks of a mouse, the deed was done.
I registered for Shutter Sister's Oasis!
In October, I'll be headed to Palm Springs which will mark just a little over a year since I started this blog - inspired in large part by the sisters.
Ali Edwards, our leader for the One Little Word project provided us with a template to write in our actions so we could put a date with them, and on the flipside document our experience. Here are mine.
Speaking of Ali, she is once again leading her "Week in the Life" project. And, yes, I am intending to participate even though I can barely keep up with what I've got going on. I just love the idea of taking a really intense look at the mundane aspects of daily life at a certain time in one's life and doing so yearly.
As I move into April, I do intend to get caught up on my projects and spend more time focusing on my word of the year. Even though I haven't been writing about it here, my word has not been far from my mind. Time has been a huge factor and this month will be no less busy. Ironically, I have absolutely NOTHING scheduled for the dates for the Week in the Life project (April 23-29) at this point. I'm going to try to keep it that way if I can. As busy as I've been, my images might not represent "typical" but the month is still young!
